Foundation Footy — Privacy policy

Fisher's Ghost Studios (ABN 41 742 457 899) · Last updated 21 September 2026

This policy covers Foundation Footy on every platform and fishersghoststudios.com.

What we may collect

We do not receive your email address or other account details from the platforms you play on.

How we use it

To run the game and its online features, to show ratings, results and league tables to other players, to keep the game working and fix problems, to respond to you, and — with your consent — to tell you about our games. We do not sell personal information.

Who else sees it

Service providers that host and operate the game and site for us (currently Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services), and the store or network you play on — Steam, the App Store, Google Play, Nintendo, Xbox, Discord or another — under that platform's own privacy policy. Purchases are handled by the platform.

Online play and Discord

Two-player matches are peer-to-peer over WebRTC. To connect, the two devices exchange network addresses through a signalling server run by PeerJS and public STUN servers; your opponent's device sees your IP address for the match. As a Discord Activity, game traffic passes through Discord's proxy and a relay we run. In desktop versions, Discord Rich Presence shows what you are playing to your Discord friends; it is on by default and can be turned off in Options. Discord's privacy policy applies to Discord.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as it is useful for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it. Data may be processed on our providers' global networks. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Children

Foundation Footy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond a platform name in match records; a parent can ask us to delete a child's information.

Your rights

We follow the Australian Privacy Principles. To access, correct or delete information we hold, or to complain, email contact@fishersghoststudios.com. Unresolved complaints can go to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If you are in the UK, the EU or another region with its own privacy law, you have the rights that law gives you — including access, correction, erasure, portability and objection — and may complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may change this policy at any time. Changes are published here with a new date.
